If you have questions about a caveat registered by the Commission, please refer to the Land Titles Act. According to Item 8 in the Procedure No. CAV-5 of the Land Titles Procedures Manual, individuals may apply to the Registrar of Land Titles should one of the subsections of the MGA be applicable ((s.663, s.669(6) and (7)) and file the appropriate documentation with the Registrar. The deferred reserve caveat may also be discharged by the subdivision authority responsible for the area in which the land is located – regardless of whether the authority is the caveator of the initial deferred reserve caveat.
